Holy Drinking Water?!?

Sometimes I wonder what will happen to our world. I ran across this article this morning about Wayne Enterprises in California. They are manufacturing holy drinking water. It is blessed by an Anglican or Catholic priest prior to shipment. Can you believe it?! I know I couldn't. The link is below so take a look!

It is actually common for Eastern Catholics to drink holy water, especially around the Feast of the Epiphany:

It is a custom among our people to drink of the Holy Water for the "purification of their souls and bodies and cure of their weakness." This custom is very ancient and came to us with the ritual itself. The taking of the Holy Water to their homes is to have in it a fount of continued blessings and protection against all evil.

But, this bottled "holy water" is something else entirely. I'm not sure if it is sacreligious or if it is sacrelicious. :-)

James,
I see nothing wrong with drinking Holy Water. It's the whole bottling and selling thing that I have issues with :-)
